Hugh MacLeod’s “Ignore Everybody” Out!

I’m bloody excited!

I don’t get excited often because there are not a lot of things that excite me…but this genuinely has me BLOODY EXCITED!

Gaping Void is just one of those things. It’s like Beavis and Butthead. You either get it or you don’t. Either you get it and get hooked or you lose the plot and with a pregnant pause smile politely - perhaps add a “that’s witty” or “how cute” - mostly because the person who introduced you to Gaping Void has his/her hand on the mouse.

It’s probably a good 4 years or so that I’ve been following GapingVoid.com. The best way to time-stamp the beginnings of my infatuation are by the “cartoons drawn on the back of business cards” I used as desktop wallpaper. I still have all those wallpapers. It was about the time that this one first came online:

This is also one of the very few I can upload … the rest are mostly PG-18. About bloggers and pie-charts and alcohol and love and the one that says “I’m in advertising - aren’t we all”. Also about conversations being forgotten by the time your head hits the pillow. Incidentally, the initial 10 odd commandments also went up on GapingVoid at around the same time.
