    My thoughts:

    1) I like it.
    2) In the homepage, I’d like to see the top new releases on top! The ‘Most Popular Subjects’ section can go down :)
    3) Could you please make the book reviews prominent in the site? They aren’t highlighted much!

Just my two cents. Take it or not, I really love Flipkart. I haven’t had a better shopping experience with any other online store in India. You rock!

Thanks for the plethora of payment options!

Hmmm, there is a lot going on in that page. I really wish there were some clever usage of colors to make it clear on which parts of the page are actually related to the book that I am looking at right now, differentiating it from the other blocks.

I do wish Flipkart had a wish list section too, so I can bookmark books that I want to buy/read in future :)

Also, how about notifications on new books by my favorite authors, etc.?

And how about auto-suggest in the search..

    … I think I’ll stop now.

Okay, couldn’t resist adding one more thought.

How about some kind of integration with http://weread.com ? It feels like you guys are perfect complements to each other.

Did you test if the payment gateways work with Firefox on Linux ? For the past couple of purchases I have had to use non Firefox browsers to transform the conclude the purchase workflow. And, I still would love to have the wishlists share-able and, getting to know what other books were bought in relation to the book I am purchasing (”our other users, also bought …. along side this book”). Some day you might consider aligning with sites like goodreads.com too :)

I like the look and feel even though there is still screen real estate wasted. And, do get a twitter or identi.ca ID so as to keep notifications and a conversation going.

Guys, what about a loyalty program? I buy a lot of books from you and while the stock and service is both good I really think there should be some reward for me and others like me to be so loyal.

    best wishes

A few suggestions from my end:

    1. More filters to refine search results like binding type, publisher, price range, etc.
    2. Auto suggestion feature for the search box.
    3. Wishlist bulk editing with option to buy or remove items. Also, I would like to see the discounted price for a book along with it’s original list price.
    4. Please reduce the number of tag clouds, do we really need these many?

    Keep up the good work.

    Hello Ppl,

Sorry to hijack your blog but this is one of my attempt to get your customer service ppls attention. My order( OD0612154549) is almost pending overdue for more than 15 days. I have wrote twice about you but you havent got back to me.

Atleast I would like the status update to be clear saying whats happening behind the screens.

Now I am a happy customer @flipkart reading through one of the rare to find books. I posted my last comment at 3:00 PM and at 3:30 PM there was a mail from flipkart refunding the money and cancelling the order.

When I thought that everything is over, Tapas @flipkart had called that night and apologized for the delay and told that they have already ordered an imported version for me . That should have cost more than what I have paid for it. But flipkart not only accepted the mistake with them but also took responsibility for it.

I appreciate the effort and the attitude you displayed in this case but I have a suggestion too. If there is any delay in processing the book let that be known to the customer.

I placed an order yesterday and am hoping this works :).

If it does, then you’ll probably see more of me around here..

And, I do think this blog is good. hope you’ll pull in book reviews here at some point.
